The objective of the treatment is too re-establish balance; symmetry of motion and stability in the feet and legs.

Initial Treatment
This is aimed at gaining symptom relief and to improve foot function.
This is obtained by;
- Manipulation
- Strapping
- Exercise programmes (stretch and postural )
- Temporary Orthoses. These are utilised in cases where lower limb and foot problems stem from abnormal foot mechanics. They also assess the necessity for permanent Orthoses.
Long term treatment
Long term treatment is dependent on many factors
i.e. extent of biomechanical imbalance, age, general health, level of sporting activity and footwear. The long-term solution is a prescription or non-prescription foot Orthoses.
